대지는 미세한 박테리아에서 더 큰 생명체에 이르는 광범위한 상호 의존 유기체를 포함하는 행성의 살아있는 피부(The Living Skin of the Planet)이다. 본 작업은 척박한 대지가 점차 푸르른 생태계로 변화하는 여정을 포착한다. 생명이 없어 보이는 척박한 곳에서 지의류와 이끼류와 같은 종은 미생물과의 공생을 통해 서서히 유기체가 번성할 수 있는 토대를 만든다. 이는 가장 가혹한 조건에서도 지속가능한 생태계를 구축하고, 생명의 안식처를 만들기 위해 적응하고 진화하는 자연 세계의 모습을 상징적으로 보여준다.

Earth is the living skin of the planet, which includes a wide range of interdependent organisms ranging from microscopic bacteria to larger life forms. This work captures the journey of the barren land gradually turning into a green ecosystem. In barren places where there seems to be no life, species such as lichens and lichens gradually form the foundation for organisms to flourish through symbiosis with microorganisms. It symbolizes the natural world that adapts and evolves to build a sustainable ecosystem under the harshest conditions and create a haven for life.
